Gall Hill edged neighbours?DirecTV Paradise 1-0 in the Christ Church derby Tuesday when Digicel Premier League action continued at the Gall Hill playing field, St John. The win put Gall?Hill on 17 points and in the mix of the mid-table.
Gall Hill created several opportunities and went close on occasion but brilliant goalkeeping by Jason Boxhill and defending by national players Barry Skeete and Andre Bourne denied the front trio of Ryan Griffith, Jason Boxhill and Julian Nicholls.
Paradise appeared rather flat, lacking drive and purpose in attack.
Target man Armando Lashley was starved of service which eventually led to a series of changes in midfield.
Kadeem Latham tried to ignite life into the Dover boys but his efforts were not enough.
Gall Hill’s pressure finally paid off in the 91st minute when Nicholls ran onto a ball played from the midfield and with only Boxhill to beat he was thwarted by a fine save but redeemed himself to score on the  second attempt just inside the six-yard area. (ROG)
