Congratulations have gone out to Justice Elliott Belgrave who has been named as Barbados’ seventh Governor General. The announcement came yesterday from Prime Minister Freundel Stuart in the House of Assembly.
Belgrave will start his official duties start on June 1.
Lisa Greaves: “I am heartened to learn of this. The PM has made a wise decision. Mr. Belgrave has served the country well in other capacities and will continue to do so when he is appointed officially. Congrats!”
