The 2012 Sol Rally Barbados started yesterday with its fair share of excitement and drama.
And spectators came out in big numbers to catch a glimpse of the island’s premier motorsport event.
Most of the attention centred on the keen competition between front-runners Roger “The Sheriff” Skeete and Sean Gill, but both drivers were forced to drop out in the evening after developing problems.
Even with Skeete and Gill no longer in the race, there was still plenty of interest as the drivers rounded off the day’s action.
Here, Ian Warren, driving an SM10 Automotive Art/Simpson Motors/Degree Suzuki Swift, providing some thrills last night in Sailor Gully, St Peter.
