Making it safer for businesses

Business in Barbados can now benefit from services and products designed to make their workplaces safe and secure.
Under the banner Crime Stoppers Secure, businesses are being encouraged to partner with Crime Stoppers Barbados to benefit from the programme’s components which include the Integrity Line; crime prevention and security seminars for staff members; discounts for participating companies on security products and services from leading providers; and basic security assessments and recommendations for the work environment.
During the launch of the programme at the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Braemar Court, Deighton Road, St Michael location, chairman of Crime Stoppers Barbados, Oral Reid, said the programme was a major security enhancement for participating businesses across Barbados.
“Businesses are now able to demonstrate that they are taking proactive steps to increase safety and security within the workplace. Anyone contemplating wrongdoing within these environs will know that precautions have been taken and procedures put in place to prevent illegal activities. (AH)
