Roseau – Sherman Webb smiled and waved at reporters as he was removed from the High Court in Roseau after being found guilty of killing Barbadian Corey Poleon.
Webb told the High Court last Thursday that he was not guilty of murdering his Bajan friend.
According to Webb, Poleon came to visit him in August 2009 to conduct a ceremony that would enable him to receive his own guardian spirit.
He told the court he came to know Poleon via an online occult chat line in 2007.
Webb said the Barbadian expressed interest in obtaining his own guardian spirit in February 2009 when he first visited Webb in Dominica, after reading up on information provided to him by Webb. (dominicanewsonline.com)
