THE BARBADOS WORKERS’ UNION (BWU) Labour College should be incorporating environmental courses into its schedule.
BWU general secretary Sir Roy Trotman agreed with the suggestion put forward by National Conservation Commission (NCC) general manager Keith Neblett yesterday.
“One of the things we want to do is work with the Ministry [of Environment] as part of all your courses, to include some aspect of the environment,” Neblett said. “We have to empower all persons at all levels to be aware [of environmental issues] and I think this would be a good opportunity to do that.”
