Step down!

Attorney at law Vernon Smith has suggested that Alexandra School chairman Keith Simmons resign and relinquish his duties as head of the board of management.
Smith, who is representing principal Jeff Broomes, made the suggestion yesterday as Simmons completed a third day of testimony at the Alexandra School Commission of Inquiry at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
“You were delinquent in your duties. I suggest you should do the right thing and resign,” Smith told Simmons during his evidence yesterday.
“That is just your opinion,” Simmons answered.
