Disquiet in the herd

Date:

Share post:

A NUMBER OF BULLS are today wondering if they will be sent to the market for slaughter.
Those close to the herd are suggesting that in order for the calves and bulls to fatten through this sustained drought, a sacrifice must be made.
The argument is that this act is needed to cleanse the herd so it can remain in good grazing.
Cou cou was told that certain elderly cattle were overheard mooing this at the herd’s recent waterhole gathering. They were not amused by the revelations of milking that occurred at a certain place, while those associated closely with the herd were in charge.
And they don’t see how the matter can just be washed away as if it never happened.
These seniors are now seeking to lock horns with the prized bull to convince him that action must be commenced against those who have brought this shame on the herd.
Cou cou was told that these seniors thoughts are that if the consumers can see the herd making efforts to clean up their act, they would continue to choosetheir fatted calves, particularly when the quinquennial market day is held.

No more promises
A PROMISE IS SAID to be comfort for a fool. But a certain man is saying that he has no intention of allowing the unfulfilled promises from a group of individuals to deter him from getting what is rightfully his.
So determined is this man that he has fired his high-priced advisor and gone for a less lettered one, who is best known as an agitator.
Though some suggested that move would backfire, the man feels he has nothing to lose as no headway was being made in solving his predicament.
In any case, he is convinced that those in charge have no intention of meeting the obligations legally due to him.
The man has taken particular aim at an individual he accused of sinking to a new low as far as making promises and setting deadlines and not keeping either are concerned.
He is saying that that person is the best example of someone who is all about promises, promises and no performance.

Wuk fuh wuk and folly
IS IT TRUE that there is another “wuk for wuk” character on the loose?
Is it also true that this man who came from a humble home has sworn that he would never be poor again, and is doing everything possible to ensure this?
Is it true, too, that the professionals who work with him recognize the folly of his doings and are slowly distancing themselves from him and the several minions he has provided work for?

Who will slam brakes on driver?
COULD THIS BE the end of the road for a certain man who likes to drive in the fast lane?
For several years, members of a body where this man is an official have been monitoring his movements and wondering when the board will slam the brakes on him.
One would have thought that he would cool his heels but instead he seems to think that being in the fast lane behind the driver’s wheel will keep him safe.
Well, many are hoping that he will not escape what has landed him in some very hot water.
