CABINET MINISTER Donville Inniss thinks the latest CADRES poll signals that it’s time for the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) to improve its public relations strategy and remind Barbadians of the work it did over the last four years.
At a branch meeting of the DLP in Mile And A Quarter,St Peter last night the Minister of Health said the poll was a reality check for the DLP. Now was not the time for DLP supporters to despair, be deflated, or criticize pollster Peter Wickham, he reasoned.
“This is not the time to panic or despair or hide under a rock,” he said. “We have nothingto be ashamed of. We have managed this country well under the circumstances.
“I am not going to shoot the messenger. I like to face the reality. Let us take stock and do what we have to do. We have done well under the most trying of circumstances.”
