Minister of Housing and Lands Michael Lashley denies there is any list at the National Housing Corporation (NHC) that specifies that assistance is to be given to Democratic Labour Party (DLP) supporters only.
And he’s willing to go to court to prove it.
Lashley denied the suggestion yesterday as he responded to a number of comments made by Barbados Labour Party (BLP) candidate for St Michael North Ronald Toppin during a nomination meeting at the Grazettes Primary School on September 30.
At that meeting Toppin, a former Minister of International Transport, claimed Opposition MPs seeking aid for their constituents were being ignored by Government agencies.
