A win in the feature matchup at Speightstown will serve as the perfect consolation for last weekend’s heartbreaker when St Peter surrendered a last-second equalizer to draw 1-1 with St Philip South.
In the opening game, the much improved St Andrew are set to tackle a St George South team looking to build upon their results from a year ago.
St Lucy will also be looking to redeem themselves after a disappointing opening result when they face St George North in the first match of the double-header at Grantley Adams Memorial School.
A losing quarter-finalist like their northern counterparts, St Lucy crumbled to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to a Christopher Atherley-led St Michael West Central side that were firing on all cylinders at the Parkinson Playing Field on Friday.
St Joseph are set to host St Michael East in the nightcap at Blackman’s, while Deacons will be the venue for a double-header that will see St Michael South Central play Christ Church West, and St Michael North West against St Michael North. (JM)
