POLICE HAVE VOWED to keep their 24-hour watch on Chapman Lane and New Orleans in The City in an effort to end the spate of shootings that have occurred there.
Frequent patrols by lawmen seem to be bearing fruit.
Yesterday’s SUNDAY SUN reported that Danrade Wayne Moise, 26, of 8th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of one round of ammunition.
The latest Press release from the Royal Barbados Police Force said that arrest was as a result of an operation in the New Orleans, Chapman Lane and Pickwick Gap areas conducted by members of the Special Services Unit (SSU), the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and other units.  (CA)
