A ten-inch water main in Newcastle has ruptured near Benn Spring and residents living along the East Coast are experiencing water outages.
The affected areas include Newcastle, Glenburnie, Bathsheba, East Coast Road, Belleplaine, Walkers and surrounding districts. Crews are also carrying out repairs to mains in Rock Hall, St Philip; Enterprise B, Christ Church; Flat Rock, St George and Belair, St Philip. These bursts have impacted residents of the immediate surrounding districts only. The BWA has sent water tankers to assist persons in the affected areas. (PR/CM)
