DHAKA – Fast bowler Tino Best snatched his first ever five-wicket innings haul to propel West Indies to a 77-run victory over Bangladesh on the final day of the first Test today.
Set 245 to win, Bangladesh collapsed for a disappointing 167 with the right-armer Best finishing with five for 24.
Mahmudullah topscored with 29, Naeem Islam got 26 and Shahriar Nafees, 23, but Bangladesh were never really in the hunt as West Indies took a 1-0 lead heading into the second and final Test starting Wednesday.
