FLYING FISH & COU COU: No work done, but money gone

An investigation seems to be in the offing over a $1 million project that has failed to get off the ground, though much of the money has been spent.
And insiders are saying if this goes anything like the probes this international organization that gave the money usually holds, then some big names will have many questions to publicly answer.
Cou Cou was told that a little man was recently summoned to a meeting to explain how the money had been spent, though the long-promised project had not come to fruition.
The man explained that as the new kid on the block he, too, was conducting his own checks and would get back to them soonest. The organization has now passed the matter over to its legal committee to assist the little man.
So pretty soon we may hear something official about this situation.
Conflicting views
There are angry people in two camps today. They are hopping mad because their key people are not singing from the same page in the hymnal.
Those in the know in both camps complained to Cou Cou this week that these key people seem not to recognize the need to have their message on point each and every time, as the slightest variation could cause doubts and create unnecessary problems.
Those in the main camp are still seething over a comment the former heir apparent made for all to hear that there were no philosophical differences between his camp and the other. His statement related to a hot topic the other camp started that seems to have backfired.
One diehard member of the main camp wants to know how his colleague could say so, given the other camp was getting licks from all and sundry, even people who usually supported them. So how could this rising star say what he did?
That’s why their boss man had to set the record straight last Sunday. He declared nothing so would be happening at all under his watch in the future.
In the other camp, the wannabes some call them, their top man and his deputies were advised not to say a word about this divisive topic. They were warned the people would not digest it easily and the fellows in the main camp would exploit it by spreading fear.
But the top man and his two deputies ignored this advice and created the firestorm they are now trying to extinguish. But they can’t get it out as the guys in the main camp have started the rumours, and you know how much sweeter such talk is than the truth.
That’s why people in both camps are now trying to get each member, high and low, big and small, in tune and sing from the same page.
Smile wiped off
Questions are being asked why a prominent man, whom some call Smiley, is so quiet these days. People are saying that not only is nothing being heard from him, but his sheepish smile is not being seen anywhere as well.
Speculation is rife that the big boss has fallen out with him but has not publicly demoted him, given his importance to the overall team performance.
The reason, some suggest, is that the big boss, for all his obvious flaws, is a man of integrity and he does not like people around him whose character is often questioned.
Insiders suggest that if the big boss feels so strongly about this that if he gets his mandate he will wipe the smile off this man’s face by condemning him to a back seat.
