A NEW PREPAID INCENTIVE SCHEME has been designed to run alongside the old agricultural rebate system.
The new system was revealed by Minister of Agriculture Dr David Estwick during a Press briefing at his Graeme Hall office yesterday.
Thanking his staff for their input, Estwick said the project, which should make an impact on the national food security, was fine-tuned over the past months and would be available for the almost 6 000 farmers to access immediately.
The minister said the former system had not been effective in improving the cash flow of farmers who used it.
