THE 41 RESIDENTS of the Gordon Cummins District Hospital will soon be in improved surroundings.
Thanks to the 25 members of the Craft Guild of Barbados and several donors, the Rock Hall, St Thomas facility is getting a spruce-up and new medical supplies. Additional supplies will be presented early in the New Year.
President of the four-year-old union, Undine Rouse, said she wanted to give back to the facility because it was where she had received her training in nursing.
“It’s not a one-off [event] because my aim and mission are to make sure that these surroundings are kept up,” Rouse remarked.
