The spirti of the season descended upon the Geriatric Hospital in Beckles Road, St Michael, yesterday courtesy of the hospital’s “Santa”, Troy Williams.
For the past five years, Williams and his company, Williams Tools and Equipment Rentals, host a Christmas party for the senior citizens and staff. It included a catered lunch, gifts and entertainment by Wayne Jackman.
Acting hospital manager Joanell Oxley-Worrell said Williams was becoming a part of their team and the continued hosting of the party showed his caring attitude.
She said the hospital usually recorded increased activity at this time of year with family visits and business entities contributing, but suggested the feeling of sharing and caring should continue throughout the year.
