Minister of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management David Estwick (right) and farmer Jannis Greenidge were full of admiration for this lettuce on a farm in Newcastle, St John, yesterday.
Estwick visited the farm after handing over the Newcastle Catchment Irrigation Project to farmers of the Scotland District Farmers Community Inc.
The project will pump water to Greenidge’s farm and six others in the area. (AH)
