THE VIEW IN Pleasant View, St James, is none too pleasant these days.
At least, not in a cul-de-sac behind the housing area, which in turn leads to a large bushy area.
While this particular road is next to some upscale homes, it ends in a dead end and people have been taking advantage of this by dumping all sorts of waste there. There are no homes along the last part of the cul-de-sac.
In fact, Pleasant View on the whole is a contrast, with unsightly looking rab land between the homes and apartments.
Reports from parliamentary representative for the area Donville Inniss and the Black Rock Polyclinic’s environmental health department indicate a long running and repeated problem with this dead end for as soon as it is cleaned up, unscrupulous offenders waste no time in making it an unsightly mess again.
