OSLO – Olympic champion Usain Bolt will compete in the Bislett Games for the third straight year when he races in the 200 metres at the Diamond League event.
The Bislett Games on June 13 in Norway is the sixth of 14 Diamond League meets this year. Bolt won the 100 last year and won the 200 the previous year.
“I have many good memories from this great city and from the Bislett Stadium,” Bolt said.
Bolt, who won gold medals in the 100 and 200 metres at last summer’s Olympic Games in London and also won the 4×100 relay, said he aims to repeat the triple feat at the Worlds in August. He sees the Bislett Games as “an important stepping stone towards that goal.” (AP)
