The Democratic Labour Party’s (DLP) main mission has been the development of Barbados.
Minister of Labour Dr Esther Byer-Suckoo said the party was able to do just that through improved housing solutions and strengthening the country’s social security net.
She stressed this last night in the first national political broadcast for the February 21 election.
During the 15-minute address, which was carried on television and radio, she said that the DLP’s priority remained about people, and not power.
