Men are not in crisis. Families are.
Reverend Ferdinand Nicholls made this assertion at a panel discussion held by CARIGES?For Women at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on Thursday night.
“Our families are in crisis. Not our men. We need to place more emphasis on building the family structure.
“We need to look more at our value systems and put what we believe into practice,” said Nicholls, who was in the audience and rose to address the topic Challenges Of Being A Real Man.
Noting that the family was the bedrock of the society, Nicholls said that Barbadians had lost their way and were now living the American dream.
Families the ones in crisis!
