Royalty Ballers’ march to the overall title in the Old Boys’ Invitational Masters Football Competition continued without a single kick last Saturday at Carlton.
Christ Church Masters did not have enough players at kick-off, and the game was awarded to Royalty Ballers who are yet to drop a match after eight rounds and have 24 points.
Combined Forces put some daylight between them and the next two teams with a 2-0 victory over Carlton which moved them to 17 points.
With identical records down to the matches played, wins, losses, draws, goals for and against at the start of the weekend, the match between Trents and Wanderers “B” at Briar Hall was an intriguing clash to see who would take over third place. (SAT)
