Final medal standings at CARIFTA

NASSAU – Jamaica won the appeal after being disqualified in the final event here at the 42nd BTC CARIFTA Games, changing the top three places in the medal standings.
The record time of three minutes 05.68 seconds stands as the new mark in the Under-20 boys’ 4×400 metres and Jamaica’s finished with 69 medals, 29 gold, 25 silver and 15 bronze.
Trinidad and Tobago, who had been awarded the gold, fell to third with 8-2-10 (20) while Bahamas collected 31 comprising eight gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze.
The Barbados tally of 20 – 4-14-2 remained unchanged.
