Last Saturday Hartley Cox was in good spirits.
Sitting in a Queen Elizabeth Hospital bed after a vehicular accident a fortnight ago, he told friends and colleagues at Stoute’s Car Rental that he was feeling better and would probably be going home soon.
But in a completely unexpected chain of events, Cox took a turn for the worse, and died on Easter Monday, succumbing to injuries suffered in the crash last month.
He is the island’s fifth road fatality for 2013. (BA)
