Member of Parliament for St Thomas, Cynthia Forde, will be leading a march to protest against B’s Recycling in her St Thomas constituency on Saturday morning.
Some St Thomas residents have been complaining of problems posed to their health and homes since a recent, massive fire on the recycling plant’s property.
“The residents have indicated very clearly that they must march on Saturday morning in that Reece Road area to demonstrate their anger and concern when nobody is responding, neither from the government’s level nor management’s level according to them,”  Forde said yesterday in a Voice Of Barbados call-in programme, Down To Brass Tacks.
The Opposition MP added,“They (residents) are adamant they must look to get proper advice or consultation with an attorney at law, so that the same way that the Bagatelle folks have called for their injunction, they can get an injunction because clearly, moving the equipment to Cane Garden says ‘we are going to set up business here’.” (JS)
