St Thomas residents say they are tired of breathing contaminated air and yesterday morning, they marched up and down in front of B’s Bottle Depot and Metal Dump in Reece Road demanding its removal.
The just over 40 protesters, who came from the immediate areas of the dump, were accompanied by parliamentary representative Cynthia Forde and a police escort. They sang gospel songs and carried placards that sent strong messages to management of B’s Recycling and Government as they pleaded to be rescued from “hell”.
