James Johnson is in sight of another golf title.
The prolific Johnson leads the competition ahead of today’s final day of the Garry Sobers Festival of Golf.
Johnson, the defending champion, shot 70 on the third day of competition yesterday at the Sandy Lane Country Club, leaving him 16 strokes clear of his nearest rival.
Barring a major mishap when he takes to the course at the Barbados Golf Club at Durants, Christ Church today, Johnson should emerge as the repeat champion.
“I think I have built up a good enough lead that I can maintain as we go over to the Barbados Golf Club, a course that I know very well from playing there quite a few times,” he said.
Here, Johnson making a drive during yesterday’s action.
