BARBADOS, resuming from 144 for two overnight, replying to Trinidad and Tobago’s first innings total of 110, reached 223 for three – a lead of 113 runs – when a brief shower drove the players off the field for an early lunch on the second day of the Regional 4-Day Championship cricket final at Kensington Oval here Friday.
Opener Kraigg Brathwaite, restarting on 49, was not out 82 in 296 minutes off 224 balls at the interval, alongside Jonathan Carter, who was on 30.
Night watchman Javon Searles was the lone batsman dismissed during the pre-lunch session, trapped leg before wicket by pacer Shannon Gabriel for 10. (EZS)
