Little Joshua now with God

Parents and family of Joshua Boyce can take solace from the fact that their loved one has been taken to a better place.
The funeral of the two-year-old, who was killed after being struck by a car on May 3 while standing outside his 4th Avenue, Skeete’s Road, The Ivy, St Michael home, took place yesterday at the St Barnabas Church, St Michael, which was filled to capacity.
In the sermon, Reverend Mark Harewood said as much as people loved their children, God loved them even more.
“God loves our children more than we do. Even though occasions like these can break our hearts, we can still give them back to Him as He loved them even when they were in their mother’s wombs.
“It is a difficult time but at times like these I am reminded of the verse ‘Blessed be those who mourn: for they will be comforted’. So be comforted as Joshua has gone back to God and one day we will be with Him also. May he rest in peace.” (CA)
