SOME SIBLINGS of a well known businessman are not at all pleased that he has chosen to walk down the aisle with his long-time lover.
Not only are they planning to boycott the wedding but they want to know if they should send him down Black Rock to have his head examined since he had said after divorcing his first wife they should carry him there if he ever got married again.
Apparently, the siblings only recently found out about his marital plans and one even wrote him a letter asking him to explain his actions, especially considering he is reaching his twilight years and his bride is many years younger.
It appears that they are all concerned about the family business since they all have shares in it and they are saying it will be hell, oh hell, if this marriage doesn’t work out.
Let’s drink to that!
IT WAS celebration time for many men and women on Monday evening.
Word has it that several of them left their stations and headed for their favourite watering holes as word spread of the demise of a certain big-up.
It seems that many considered it good news and felt that it was long overdue.
It’s understood that some were even overheard saying “every pig got a Saturday”.
Coach’s bad cheating style
AFTER TEACHING sportsmen for so many years the art of catching and dodging balls, a famous cricket coach should probably enroll in some classes too.
He may probably learn a thing or two about how to be discreet when cheating on the wife.
This man cannot for one minute believe that people do not see when he drives his very recognizable vehicle at a certain institution on evenings, park it on the dark side of the car park, then hops into his lover’s vehicle.
If he is not more careful, he may one day return to the car park to find his wife standing next to his posh ride, then we will see if he will be able to coach his way out of that situation.
Friends in powerful places
THE SENIOR MAN at the institution on the outskirts of The City who was being investigated for selling certain documents is now back on the job after taking sick leave during the investigation.
Word has it that a telephone call was made to a high-ranking official and he was ordered to put the brakes on the investigation even though there was irrefutable evidence against the senior man.
And the young woman who assisted him in the transaction – a very close friend of a politician – is also back on the job after being transferred to another department when everything came to light.
So people are asking: How is it that the man who was ordered not to proceed with the investigation is now out of a job while these two will continue to collect their salaries?
Can’t take it no more!
IT SEEMS that a certain person is jumping ship now that the heat has become too hot to bear.
Word reaching P&S is that the senior official has resigned and should be departing very shortly.
Apparently, the individual has told friends that they no longer feel as if they are in charge because the head honcho is sleeping with the deputy.
