GG off to Queen

Eminent?Queen’s Counsel and former Deputy Prime Minister Sir Philip Marlowe Greaves is now acting as Governor General of Barbados.
He took up the position yesterday after Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave and Lady Belgrave left the island on official business in London.
Sir Elliott, a Knight Grand Cross of St Michael and St George (KCMG), was given the title last June when he was appointed as head of state. The official conferment is expected to take place during this week at Buckingham Palace by Queen Elizabeth II.
