Man charged with drug offences

Members of the Drug Squad have formally charged Barbadian national Carlos Andre Marshall, age 31, of 9A Silver Hill Drive, Silver Hill, Christ Church, for the offences of:

Possession of ½ kilo of cocaine
Possession with intent to supply
Trafficking; and
Importation.

Marshall arrived by air from Trinidad on 19 July, 2013, proceeded to Customs and was searched.  This search revealed two packages hidden in shoes which were in his luggage. A further search was conducted and two packages were also discovered in the underwear he was wearing.  He was handed over to the Police. 
Marshall is expected to appear at the District B Magistrate Court tomorrow.
