Coast Guard green thumbs

Tough times call for a tough response. And Barbados Coast Guard personnel, who are no strangers to dealing with rough characters at sea, have applied their strength of character to providing fresh fruit and vegetables for their own.
They have turned a 2 000-square-foot patch at their HMBS Pelican, Spring Garden, St Michael headquarters into a gardener’s delight.
