A Christ Church man was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds yesterday after appearing in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on a murder charge.David Anthony Ricardo Jones was arraigned before Magistrate Graveney Bannister for the death of auxiliary nursing assistant Denise Clarke last Thursday.Jones, 29, of Platinum Heights, Thornbury Hill, Christ Church, was the former boyfriend of the deceased.
Clarke, 41, formerly of Ellerton, St George, was found around 5:30 a.m. in a pool of blood in the waiting room of the Bromswood Retirement Home in Two Mile Hill, St Michael.Jones, who was not represented by counsel yesterday, sat quietly in a corner of the courtroom, his gaze moving back and forth. He returns to court on August 23. (BA)
