Yesterday was one of fun and relaxation for scores of senior citizens.
They were treated to an Elderly Appreciation Day, organized by the Barbados Association of Retired Persons at the Girl Guides headquarters at Pax Hill, Belmont Road, St Michael.
In addition to food and entertainment, there were games such as warri and dominoes and health checks.
One of the popular activities was a line dancing session.
Here, retiree Ken Farrell (front) leads a group as they performed a lively piece.
