RAUL GARCIA who won a court case to obtain his freedom after serving time in prison for a drug offence eventually left Barbados this morning for his homeland Cuba.
Garcia who was in the company of immigration officials left Barbados after checking in at Grantley Adams International Airport this morning about 5.
The news of Garcia’s intended departure was broken by the DAILY NATION.
In a government release the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said the Government of Barbados and the Government of the Republic of Cuba had reached a successful conclusion in the negotiations ‘to have Mr. Raul Garcia Castilla repatriated to Cuba”.
