Police are investigating a drug landing at Heywoods Beach, St Peter which occurred on Sunday around 12:45 p.m.
In a release early today, police reported that a fishing boat De Marco ran aground.
Police said one polythene bag was discovered aboard containing a number of packages, weighing 47 lbs of cannabis.
Investigations are continuing. (CM/PR)
