THE WEST INDIES CRICKET BOARD (WICB) will be taking measures to ensure that the recent problems with corruption which have rocked the sport do not rear their head in the Caribbean.
And one option being considered is the monitoring of cellular phones belonging to WICB match officials.
Word of this came from WICB president Dave Cameron during a media event at the Hilton Hotel last weekend, which was also attended by International Cricket Council (ICC) president Alan Issacs.
Speaking to NATION SPORT in an exclusive interview, Cameron said that although the initiative had not yet been implemented, they were seriously considering such a move.
