Barbados defeated Botswana 52-31 earlier today and are 2-0 at the Senior International Festival of Netball in Northern Ireland.
Teenager Sheniqua Thomas made her senior international debut in the second half, combining with fellow Under-16 national Shonica Wharton. The pair took over the shooting from the 24-17 half-time score and played to the end.
Experienced senior players Laurel Browne and Nikita Piggott started in the attack for Barbados who will play hosts Northern Ireland tomorrow at the Antrim Forum.
Northern Ireland beat St Lucia 61-36 in the late game and are also 2-0. (SAT)
