Cardiologist Dr Alfred Sparman is not giving up on his quest to purchase Bayview Hospital.
Well-informed sources told the SUNDAY SUN that Sparman had again signalled his interest in buying the island’s only private hospital, despite the collapse of earlier negotiations with Bayview’s board of management.
When contacted, board chairman Dr William Duguid refused to comment on the latest development. However, sources have indicated Sparman’s renewed interest was being considered by Bayview’s owners.
It is understood the cardiologist has put a new offer on the table, which reportedly included a previous half-million dollar downpayment that had become the centre of controversy.
Sparman still wants Bayview
