Chefette greetings

The “friendly chef” covered the Rockley branch of Chefette Restaurants Limited with the flavour of the Yuletide Season for much of last Sunday evening.
It was an evening filled with carol-singing, gifts, face-painting, and children’s characters including Cinderella and of course, Santa Claus and Mrs Claus – and the large crowd gathered for this event enjoyed every moment of it.
Managing director of Chefette, Ryan Haloute, explained: “We just wanted to have a Christmas carolling event for the kids, parents and grandparents as we did last year so that everybody could come out and enjoy the spirit of Christmas.
“We had Frosty and the elves along with others and there were plenty of giveaways, including Chefette vouchers  as we do every year.”
Haloute added: “I always like to say that despite the economic recession, we always push our brand to be top of mind and to be top of mind you can’t be hiding and not pushing ahead. That is why we are continuing to expand and having these events, so we will keep ahead and try to help  build back the confidence  in the country and hopefully come out of this recession soon rather than later.”
Among the performers were G-Syndicate, St Lawrence School Choir and Khadija. (RL)
