Boscobel Stars just managed to edge out St?Joseph “B” on their way to capturing the three-hand title when the Barbados Dominoes Association (BDA) hosted their Champion of Champions competition last Sunday at St?Leonard’s Boys’ School.
Boscobel amassed 73 points, three more than the second-placed St?Joseph, with Eastbourne United finishing third on 65 points.
The winners were led by Linda?Kellman who had 17 points, while David Brathwaite, Earle Kellman and Caleb Gilkes each scored 14 points.In an exciting finish to the four-hand competition, Team Nowell scored 77 points to emerge victorious over Team Bovell who compiled 70 points.
