EMBATTLED MINISTER Dr David Estwick will get his chance to make a presentation of his alternative path to deal with Barbados’ fiscal problems to Cabinet next Thursday.
Estwick confirmed last night that Prime Minister Freundel Stuart agreed to this when they met on the matter at 10 a.m. yesterday.
This is the latest twist in the seeming division between Estwick and his Cabinet colleagues over the lay-offs as part of Government’s measures to address its fiscal problems. Word of this comes, too, after two letters sent to Stuart by Estwick were being circulated yesterday.
