Father and son charged

A FATHER and son have been arrested and charged with attempting to export more than $12 000 from Barbados.
Jeffery Harington Callender, 46 and his 23-year-old son Rico Antonio Bill were arrested yesterday moments before they left the island for Guyana.
Callender, of No. 9 Coral Land, Haggatt Hall St Michael and Bill of No. 9 Valley View, Pinelands St. Michael were apprehended at the Grantley Adams International Airport.
After checking in, they were questioned by Police, which led to the cash seizure. Callender had US $3 320.00, while Bill had US $2 730.00, exceeding the amount legally allowed without permission from the Exchange Control Authority. (PR)
