Fourth road fatality

The day of love turned into an evening of tragedy for a Christ Church family yesterday.
Motorcyclist Andy Moore, 36, of  No.19 Frere Pilgrim South, died along the Newton, Christ Church road, after a collision with an SUV around 3:35 p.m. His body ended up on the grassy edge of the road.
The vehicle was driven by 27-year-old Sasha Reece.
Moore’s death on St Valentine’s Day is the fourth road fatality for the year.
On January 9, 2014, George Anthony Blackman, 62, of Harts Gap, Christ Church, died after an accident at the Eagle Hall, St Michael junction.
Eighteen-year-old Xavier Mansour, of Blue Waters, Rockley, Christ Church, died on January 26 following a collision at the junction of Rendezvous Road and Amity Lodge, Christ Church.
On February 8, Troy Ifill, of Haggatt Hall, St Michael, lost his life in a collision with a Transport Board bus in St John.
