AN ACCIDENT on Lancaster Road, St James section of the Ronald Mapp Highway left two people nursing injuries last night.
Around 3:40 p.m. the head-on collision left Travis Best, 23, of St Christopher, Christ Church with cuts to his head and face.
The other driver, Marquita Sandiford, 50, of Maycocks, St Lucy, complained of cuts to her knees and pain to her chest.
Both were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The accident caused a huge build-up and delay of traffic on the heavily used section of the highway. (TTY)Here, the car driven by Best ended up in this bushy area on an embankment. (Pictures by Lennox Devonish.)
