Three Barbadians are assisting police with the seizure of more than 600 pounds of cannabis found on a boat.
Around 1:20 a.m. today, a joint operation of the Drug Squad, Marine Unit, the Barbados Coast Guard and the RSS intercepted a 24 foot boat and seized 607 pounds of cannabis about eight nautical miles off Needham’s Point, St. Michael.
The drug was contained in 14 polythene bags, one knit bag, one white bucket and two black bags. (PR)
