Leave Estwick alone

DAVID ESTWICK is swimming in a proverbial dry pond and should be left alone.
That is the advice of former Prime Minister and leader of the Owen Arthur during an address at the branch meeting of Christ Church West Central at Christ Church Foundation School tonight.
Arthur is concerned that members of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) are being “distracted” from its task by the actions of the Minister of Agriculture and that it can ill afford to do so during this time of peril.
The former Prime Minister said it was foolishness to think that Estwick would suddenly lose all his “Demishness” and join the BLP because he was not seeing eye to eye with Cabinet colleagues on the running of the economy and other issues. (YB)
